Both Apple Mill and Burrow are now equipped with Electric Vehicle (EV) charging points. Consequently, you can sleep soundly knowing your car will be charged and ready for the adventures ahead.
Being able to have your own vehicle with you on holiday is just one of the benefits of the staycation, but not all cars are run by fuel. With so many of us trying to be ‘greener’, more of us are moving to electric vehicles.

Equally, if you’re travelling to Devon and want to try the greener side of life, hiring an electric car is no issue when staying at one of our holiday cottages with its own electric car charging point. It is defiantly one way to test an electric car!
Solar Power to Charge Your Electric Vehicle
On-site at Pebblebed Holiday cottages, we have PV Solar Panels, which means that when the sun is shining we are creating our own electricity to power your lights, fridge, hot tub and potentially your car. (additional charge applies for the use of the Car Charging and the Hot Tub).
Star Gazing on Your Holiday
On the topic of Hot Tubs, on a clear night out best recommendation is a spot of stargazing. Our rural village of Venn Ottery just inland from Sidmouth has very little light pollution – we can see stars for miles. Keep an eye out for the shooting ones!
